Dusk almost arrived when I visited Ngieng Jioh Park, Blang Payang Village, Muara Dua District, Lhokseumawe City. However, in the sky dark clouds covered part of the hilly area.

Yes, on the hilltop that is often called the Japanese Hill ranks is the Park Ngieng Jioh. The name of the park was taken from the Acehnese language which means to look far away. Some teenagers are on the edge of the poles that are built rather steeply.

But don't worry, this location is indeed used to take pictures and relax. At the edge, a security fence was installed so that visitors were comfortable and did not fall down full of leaves.

The mention of the Japanese Hill for rows of hills in the park area refers to the defense bunkers when Japanese soldiers colonized Indonesia.

In a number of hills, there are bunkers as defense locations. This location was also chosen by Japan to oversee the Malacca Strait area.
From the top of this hill, far away there is a blue expanse of sea with fishing boats that look small. It was also clear that dozens of oil and gas tanks owned by PT Perta Arun Gas (formerly owned by PT Arun NGL) Lhokseumawe.
This afternoon, visitors were crowded. But, today is rather quiet. Maybe it's because it's cloudy, said Muammar, a local youth who works as a guide in a tourist attraction built since 2015.

On the hill is also a breeze so it feels cool. To get to this place, it's very easy. Pass through the national road Banda Aceh - Medan.

Arriving in the village of Blang Payang, exactly the left side is seen Lhokseumawe Heroes Cemetery.

Next to the tomb there is a road leading to the hill. Follow the road until it's finished, at the end of the road the park is located. Climbing this hill is fairly easy. Not too steep. However, for those of you motorbike riders it is better to be careful, because it could be, if an expert does not drive a motorcycle, it will retreat.

For admission tickets are set at only Rp. 2,000 per person. However, this tour is most suitable for teenagers. Many spots are intagramable. Whereas for children there is a park where they play with various chairs there.

However, according to Muammar, in a day usually 200-500 visitors come to the location of the park. "Pretty crowded. The majority of teenagers, "he said.
Well, dusk is almost here. The orange silhouette looks a little shy in the sky overlaid with clouds. The wind gets tighter. Curious, please visit. Enjoy the view as far as the eye can see in Taman Ngieng Jioh.

Thank for visiting
