Situated in north west state of India Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan state. It was founded on 18the November 1727 AD, it has unique distinction of being the first planned city of the world where each path cuts the other at right angle.

The erstwhile King Sawai Jai Singh who himself was a great architect and astronomer, laid the foundation specially called the noted architect expert Vidhyadhar from East Indian State of Bengal to plan the city. Vidhyadhar, keeping mind the climate, geography and culture of the region designed and implemented his plans which resulted in shaping of a city which still feels so alive and growing.

Building within the walled city are painted a terracotta “pink” colour and therefore it has acquired its name of Pink City. In recent times it has also been called as Paris of India.

Jaipur is directly Rail, Road and Air. Its International Airport has direct flights to Dubai, Sharjaha, Muscat, Bangkok, Singapore and Kualalumpur from these places it gets connection to the world.

Certainly a wide variety of culture, simplicity, cuisine it attracts large number of tourists each year. Best time to visit is between October to March when temperature is bearable. Else in May June it may soar to 45 degrees Celsius.
