From Egypt Features # My trip to Fayoum # 1

Fayoum Governorate is one of the most important tourist areas in Egypt, where all the attractions of nature, climate and distinctive location are gathered. The civilizations of prehistoric times have left their timeless traces through the Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Coptic and Islamic monuments

Fayoum  Governorate is one of the governorates of Egypt. Fayoum is located in  the Western Desert in the south west of Cairo Governorate and 90 km  away. It is one of the governorates of the Upper Upper Egypt region. It  is surrounded by the desert from all sides except the South East

Fayoum is a small image of Egypt, some even call it "Little Egypt". This  is because it has many features that exist in Egypt, where the Sea of  Youssef is Nile and its delta, and it represents Lake Qaroun in its  coastal north. Fayoum has an agricultural community, an industrial  society as well as a Bedouin community. There is also a fishing  community on the banks of Lake Qaroun

It  is characterized by the Qaroun and Wadi Al Rayyan lakes, with species  of migratory and migratory birds, which are abundant during the winter  season. Bird watching and bird hunting tourism are in accordance with  the rules. Fayoum is characterized by wildlife because of the desert  that surrounds it from each side and it is rich in plant and animal  components
