Travel and Food: Tarifa, Spain

in #travel8 years ago (edited)

Last year my father and I traveled to Spain to visit my sister abroad. We drove around aimlessly for 10 days until we stumbled upon a hidden gem - Tarifa, Spain. Located in southern Spain within the province of Cádiz, Andalusia, Tarifa is known primarily for its summer wind sports. Morocco can be viewed across the Straits of Gibraltar from the Roman ruins scattered on the outskirts of the town.

Wow man the beach looks awesome with this kites. They are really hard to ride and require a lot of practice. The food looks delicious and the ambiance has a cool vibe.

Great pictures. I highly recommend Puerto Banus. They have a very nice yachtclub with a whole street full of great restaurants in front of it. It is quite expensive though.
