Great photos and thank you for the informative details about the town and the Berbers. Yes in my experience too monkeys in Indonesia are not well behaved. I've seen them steal lunch off a table.
yes they are shockers! I suspect some at least are trained to steal so some enterprising locals can get your belongings back - for a small fee :)
