History of Victoria Memorial

The reason behind this building building a monument on a grand scale is indeed an interesting one. This stunning creation was created to commemorate the development of Lord Curzon's brain and the reign of the fifth year of India's Queen. After the mutiny of 1857, after the conquest of the queen, she became the statue of India and successfully ruled the country till her death in 1901. Lord Curzon wanted his monument to be perfect, spacious and large, a beautiful garden.
