MAKAK BnB / Magical place in Bulgaria_Travel adventures_part 01

Hello, Steemians!
It’s time for me to introduce to another cool place that i and @rorxco recently visited for pleasure/business and how we ended up finding new friends!
I am starting with a short introduction - What is MAKAK BnB? And can someone actually categorize that place?

In the official description on their website it says : “ ...located in the center of Bulgaria near the river Yantra in idyllic rural settings, yet close to museums, restaurants and clubs. The house has unique home decor, artistic ambiance and modern comforts. MAKAK B&B offers delicious home cooked dishes prepared with a lot of passion and organic products. Your hosts will help you feel at home and be your personal guides in Bulgarian art, history, culture and traditions.” (http://www.makakbnb.com/)
What that house is is way way more than what they are trying to describe!

We crossed ⅓ of Bulgaria, i can say, to reach the spot. When we were leaving Sofia the GPS was showing 2 h 49 min and 219 km in front of us. The village which shelters MAKAK BnB is called Ledenik and it’s around 7 km away from the famous bulgarian city - Veliko Tarnovo.
You have to enter and cross half of the village to reach Rossi and Peter’s house(those are the owners of the house).

When you enter the big wooden gates your eyes fall immediately on Rossi’s smile and usually somewhere around her you can find Peter also welcoming while casually rolling himself a cigarette. They greet like an old friend and the amount of hospitality blows your head in the first few minutes!

That amazing lady has her herbal, vegetable and fruit garden in her backyard - from lavender, salvia, zucchini, tomatoes, apples, walnut AND hazelnut tree!

She bakes all types of divine smelling bread, prepares her own pesto and homemade jams in crazy combinations like white cherries, orange peel and rum!

They even have their own sightseeing tours around the village and the city and personal recommendations for the official ones!

Now I have to continue with part two and the reason we ended up going over there and that traveller event that brought us meeting Rossi in the first place!
Almost a month ago at 26th of June there was an event called “Meet the travel bloggers in Bulgaria” and was located in the “Travellers club” in Sofia. I really wanted to check it and i asked @rorxco if he wanted to join me and we set the leaving hour but eventually my appointment before delayed and we ended up at the party when the official part with the presentations was totally over.

So we head straight to the bar for a drink and we met one of his university colleagues - a short girl, yelling and gesturing a bit much, that immediately dragged us into a conversation. After about 10 minutes fulfilled with strong and emotional joy of meeting us, that girl was greeted by a middle age curly hair lady that jumped into our small talk. She represented herself as Rossi from MAKAK BnB and handed both of us a colorful leaflets.
After another small talk we decided to go out for a cigarette and asked if anyone would like to join us. Rossi said that she is a smoker but she has no cigarettes in herself so Roro offered to roll her one and we all went outside.
She told us that the idea of her visit here was to promote their house to new people and slipped a short story about her 17 years old son. She mentioned that they need new bigger and better promotion strategy and materials and i decided that it is time for me to professionally introduce what i and @rorxco are doing for living and our academical education. Then she asked Roro what would have cost her to rent a team for a professional photoshoot and a video shoot with the necessary equipment and after Roro told her the tentative price she offered us to visit them for couple of days for free and meanwhile we can make some photos and videos.
We exchanged emails and after saying goodbye to everyone we left on our way back home totally inspired by the evening.
On 6th of July i wrote Rossi with an offer - amount of professional photos, photos for social media and a video and i left for the Jazz Festival here in Sofia. Later i received an email from her with her phone number and a message that she is at the moment travelling to Sofia to visit the Jazz Festival. I called her and she sounded so happy to hear from me. She told me that she is fine with our offer and the dates that we are free to do it and she told that it is a special day. I asked her why and she explained that it is her birthday on the 12th of July and beside us there are going to be a cute romanian couple to celebrate with her and her husband. Of course my first reaction was to ask if they are OK and that we could switch the dates but she assured me that it would be perfect like that.
So our adventure with that phone call and her agreement..
This travel article is getting long and my impressions are so deeply shattering so i am stopping for now with part 01 and stay tuned to read what happened to us and how colorful our experinced turned out!
