Tea Pot Hill! BC, Canada Photos (Part 1)

So @haileyscomet and I made it to Canada! We will be here for the summer and are so stoked about it. (Stay tuned for out post about crossing the border). On our way to our current campground we passed a sign for Tea Pot Hill and Hailey pointed it out as we went by and when we were researching and planning our adventures, we looked it up see what it was all about. We found out that it gets it's name from having tea pots hidden all around the trail. Yep tea pots in nature, interesting but awesome combo!

I can't find the reason people leave the tea pots, but the idea sounded really neat to us and is only a 2 or 3 mile drive away form us so we made it our first hike (today), along with Bridal Veil Falls (photos and videos coming soon). The hike is only 3.7 miles total but has an incline of 885 feet which is a pretty brutal uphill hike and oh we felt it. The first half of the hike is just on a general trail that had a nice little stream by it at one point but the fun didn't start until we hit the Tea Pot Hill trail. That is when the I Spy game started!

The tea pots were hidden everywhere and I photoed about 70 of them and still missed many that were to high to see, too far away, too hard to get to, or we just missed. It was an adventure and became a slight obsession to try and capture as many as I could, which made the hike quite a bit longer than it should have been, but I think it was worth it!
