Travel Bucket List #5 Antigua

Antigua is very well known for its pristine white sand beaches and is a tourist hotspot for sun seekers and beach bums alike.

Working on your tan is great and everything but that isn’t all that Antigua has to offer! Here are some fun activities to keep in mind when you scratch this one off your Travel Bucket List.
You can hold a Sting Ray (Southern Ray) in Stingray City! The water is so crystal clear that you can see right down to the sandy bottom where the stingrays like to bury themselves. Southern Rays are considered the “puppy dog of the ocean” and they actually love getting affection so there is no need to be afraid when holding them.

For all those adrenaline junkies there are tree top zip lines where you can get an extreme birds eye view of the island.

Speaking of bird eye views, Shirley Heights offers a spectacular view over the English Harbor along with drinks, barbecue and local bands playing a mixture of Caribbean music and international hits.

This is just a few of the many entertaining activities that Antigua has to offer. With such intense beauty, I defiantly recommend Antigua be added to your Travel Bucket List!
