Exploring the Missouri Ozarks Part 7: Johnson Shut Ins
This past Sunday, we went on a family trip with some good friends of ours to visit Elephant Rocks State Park. If you missed my post, you can check it out here:
On the way back, we decided to stop at Johnson Shut Ins. We only had about an hour of daylight left, so we had to make the most of our time there! The shut ins are an absolutely stunning treasure from nature! You can read more about the park at: https://mostateparks.com/park/johnsons-shut-ins-state-park
One of the wider angle shots I got from the bottom of the rock formations. You can see @kayla.denise and her son Kendrix.
Some information about the shut ins on our walk down
Kind of looks like a chair, doesn't it? ;) Nature's recliner!
Our daughters, Maci and Annabel, playing in the little waterfalls
Our oldest, Maci, trying to convince the others to go down the waterslide again with her
Splash!!!
@kayla.denise with the 2 little ones
@jasonrussell taking pictures of the kids from another angle
Annabel climbing up "just one more time!!!" before we had to go :)
We always have a great time playing in the great outdoors with our family and friends! Missouri has so much natural beauty to offer, and we take advantage of it as often as we possibly can! Follow me if you'd like to see more about our adventures in the Ozarks! Thanks for checking it out!!! :)
