7 REASONS TO MOVE TO SPAIN

in #travel7 years ago

The main heroine of a famous autobiographical book - Eat, Pray, Love should not travel that far, because Elizabeth Gilbert could find everything she was looking for in one place, the fourth largest European “territoire” - fascinating Kingdom of Spain. After living in this amazing country and having experienced Spanish lifestyle to the fullest by traveling from one city to another, I developed my personal concept for the homeland of Garcilaso de la Vega and Miguel de Cervantes. SPAIN is Special Pleasure Appeal Incepted Nationally.

In this article I will describe 7 Reasons why sou should move to Spain right now!

  1. Spectacular Views

My love story with Spain started in Valencia, then it gradually moved to Seville, Madrid, some other cities, and with a fascinating final accord in Barcelona, where I was looking at la Sagrada Família Basilica, and thinking how happy people living in this beautiful country with rivers, mountains, islands and 44 UNESCO World Heritage Sites must be. Picos de Europa mountain ranges, Mount Teide in Tenerife or Santiago de Compostela Cathedral - the gloss of the Spanish Empire will never fade.

2.Prestigious Universities

Spain is well known by its prestigious Universities and Business Schools. Also it is one of the most famous destinations for ERASMUS, that has just celebrated 30 years of successful exchanges in Europe. More than 40O Million people speak Spanish, that makes it the second most spoken language worldwide. But the majority of exchange students choose Spain also because of its perfect living conditions and life-long memories. But if you decide to get your higher education in Spain, check EADA Business School Barcelona, Universidad Complutense de Madrid or Universitat de Valencia.

3.Amazing Prices

You will love Spanish prices, especially if you are coming from fancy European capitals. Tasty one euro montaditos, great coffee, perfect menu deals - you will be able to enjoy the best terraces and night clubs (of course prices in Barcelona and
Madrid are much higher because of numerous expats). I am also a firm believer that Spain is the best shopping place in Europe, not only because of Mango and Inditex group, owning Zara, Massimo Dutti and other brands. You can easily find luxury department stores (El Corte Ingles) or authentic shops in the old city center. And maybe one day you will be able to acquire cozy little house by the sea.

4.Nice People

“I came to Spain and I saw people party... all day, all night”. Tell me who
does not enjoy Spanish summer parties? I have this image of people living in Spain as beautiful, crazy, strong, and enthusiastic. It is also scientifically proven that people living in warmer climates are happier and more open. You can easily have a nice conversation with your elderly neighbor, bakery owner or fresh fruits seller. Or join to a group of people playing beach volleyball or surfing on the ways of The Mediterranean Sea.

5.Incredible Diversity

Spain is composed of 17 autonomous regions with their unique culture and identity. Every tourist dreams to see beautiful Gaudi Buildings in Barcelona, sometimes forgetting about other cities that can impress by its architecture. For example Salamanca, Huesca or Pamplona. Spain is one of the largest catholic countries in the world, but you can find the traces of Arabic Influence, what is known as Moorish Spain. For example The Alhambra or Albaicin in Granada. And you will understand why Basques, Catalans and Valencians do not like to be all labeled as Spaniards.

6.Splendid Food

From patatas bravas to the pimientos al padron. From gazpacho to salmorejo. And, of course, unlimited choice of tapas and the best paella in the world. In Spain everyone will be able to find amazing food, especially if you are a ham-lover. People there have sacred eating rituals and special relationships with food by sharing these important moments with family, friends and lovers. I, personally, prefer the food in Madrid with its fantastic tapas and pastry places.

7.Holistic Experience

This is more a Marketing term, but in general it means that you will get everything you want - an integrated experience of all kinds of pleasures. If you are interested more in cultural life, then go to Madrid and visit Prado, Reina Sofia and the Thyssen Museums. For the best parties go to Ibiza. If you are a Game of Thrones fan - you should visit Alcazar in Seville. For those who love modern buildings, the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia will be the perfect place to stay. And do not forget about the best Spanish festivals such as Las Fallas, Festa Mejor de Grácia, Día de los Reyes Magos, La Raima and others.

I hope that this concepts of SPAIN and SPANISH will help you to make the right choice, when you will plan your next trip abroad. If you are not ready to move to another country, then just visit amazing Spain. And hurry up, because the movement “Tourism kills” is gaining momentum in Spain, especially in Barcelona. But every one must experience at least once in their life this fascinating Spanish lifestyle.
