The Top 50 places I've been to: #4 Bolivia's Amboro Jungle

in #travel7 years ago

Located on the eastern slopes of the Andes on the edge of the Amazon basin lies an extremely diverse ecosystem, possibly the most diverse in the world. The Bolivian part near Santa Cruz is hardly visited by tourists and if you choose to go there you're rewarded with giant ferns, protruding rocks that look like volcanic cones and very gentle people.

Bolivia is an amazing touristic destination, with a lot to offer. 😊 Big and warm greetings from Cochabamba, the heart of Bolivia.

Missed this one on my last trip :-) - though buses where offered at almost every terminal, maybe next time ...

Yes, there are a lot of transportation options in Bolivia. It's pretty easy going from one part of the country to another. Next time, be sure to visit Cocha. ☺

those hills look so beautiful and soft :D

Aren't there any wild animals?

I recall #BOLIVIA from the movie "Butch & The Sundance Kid". It was depicted as being quite remote.

Can appreciate that in these images ♦♦ Well done, voted up !

Amzing place to visit & beautiful photography.

Looks wonderful! When I was traveling with my partner in Malaysia, we went to a jungle. It was very interesting but it didn't end good. My partner got Dengue fever from a mosquito! :/

@mcsvi what a great trip.
Amazingly wonderful Nature....
