What is it? - Venice edition
Today is my last day in Italy so since I had a Guess-what-it-is-contest for a photo taken in France I will also do one for this photo taken in Italy. So guess what the object/thing is in the photo! Is it modern art, some strange tapestry, something else? I will give away a single steemit basic income share to anyone who can guess what it is or to the most entertaining answer! ummm... maybe it's cocoa powder on top of a delicious italian desert like tiramisu or tartuffo?!
but that doesn't explain those scratch-marks there... maybe it's just spilled on a counter-top from making a ton of original cappuccini?
but then, there's this faint reflective shine along the top edge of the image, like on a soft foamy surface... is it the cappuccino itself?!

there is no counter-top and also no cappuccini. But it is the result of something on something.

Marble/rock is actually a bit in the right direction. But the black stuff comes from something edible.
OK - dirt with pollen and worm tracks over it! I know I'm right now :)
