I'd recommend you see at least a couple of the palaces. A lot of the older buildings in Seoul are all grouped up around each other in central Seoul, so you can do a bunch of them in one day. Bukchon Hanok Village is in walking distance of Gyeongbok Palace, which is the grandest and largest of the palaces, which in turn is right outside Gwanghamun square (not a palace, but a nice landmark). Changdok palace and Changgyeong palace are both right beside each other and 1 train stop from Gwanghamun.

If you go to Changdok palace I highly recommend getting the secret garden tour - you don't have to take part in the tour but it allows you to access the secret garden, which is a big beautiful forested area at the back of the palace which is well worth exploring. It's absolutely edited. I mean it may look like that in real life, but no way a camera is going to just pick up that much detail in the raindrops at that level of low light. This is a high-quality photo, and you wouldn't get the contrast of colors to darkness while maintaining detail in the raindrops without some editing. It's definitely not a.Raw file image. I would assume just a longer shutter speed would make the lights look brighter and give the rain more light and longer streaks.
I was a noob with a camera when I first took a DSLR to Korea and I was surprised by how well my pictures came out due mainly to the incredible cities it has.
If anyone was thinking about it: Korea is an amazing country that everyone should
