The part of travel that I enjoy the most is being able to eat delish high quality food and paying so little for the meal. There is something so satisfying about having a full belly and paying less than a dollar for your food :)
This is something that I always harp on to my relatives and friends because we pay so much in the west for what we eat. It’s always shocking at the start of travel how far your dollar can really go!
I hope seeing this can inspire at least one of you thinking about traveling to take the plunge and commit to your own adventure. Cheers!

You can definitely get the feel of a place by trying local food. It's so fascinating - taste preferences of different cultures. Wooow.. it's 47 euro cents, insane!

The best way to know a place is by the food the locals are eating on a daily basis :)
Honestly most everything is cheap here. Indonesia is not an expensive place to be.
Petrol costs less than .50 cents a Liter
A 25 liter Jug of water costs .25 cents
A used motor bike costs $150-$250
only thing that is a bit expensive is alcohol because it is a Muslim majority country.
