It's more fun in Baguio City Philippines

The most known tourist spot in Baguio City is the Burnham park it is called the "the very heart of Baguio City" the park is a 32.84 hectare. It was named after the American architect and urban planner Daniel Hudson Burnham who laid the plans for the city. Several stretch of roads around the park lead to Camp John Hay, a former recreational base of the United States Armed Forces in the Philippines. The park retains much of Daniel Burnham's original design and layout a century ago, with a few features added, to make it a vibrant center of activity for everyone to enjoy. 

Burnham park has 12  different areas:

1. man-made lake with rowboats for hire that the locals call "the burnham lagoon"
2. the Sunshine Park
3. the Rose Garden
4. the Children's Playground
5. the Igorot Garden
6. the Skating Rink
7. the Orchidarium
8. Melvin Jones Garden
9. Pine trees of the world
10. Picnic grove
11. the Athletic Bowl and
12. the Japanese Peace tower

 Originally intended to serve as green park, to provide a bustling city with a peaceful environment with wide open green spaces, Burnham Park under Filipino administration is now more of an amusement park with boating, bicycle and skating areas, sports and gaming areas, and a few eateries.  Burnham Park is an ideal place for taking photographs and a visitor should bring along a camera when going to the park. If in case you forget to bring a camera during your visit, there are commercial photographers in the park who can take your pictures. Pictures are usually delivered to you within just a few hours.

Ang Burnham ay kinuha sa pangalan ng american architect at urban planner na si Daniel Hudson Burnham na nag planu ng disenyo ng lugar . Ang parke ay pinapanatili sa orihinal nitong disenyo ni Daniel Burnham isang siglo na ang nakalipas na may mga idinagdag na mga tanawin na mga pwedeng gawing aktibidad para sa lahat ng nais pumunta sa lugar at mag enjoy.

Orihinal na ginawa upang maglingkod bilang isang green-park upang mag silbing isang mapayapang na kapaligiran na may malawak na puwang ng mga berdeng tanawin. Higit sa amusement park marami ng pwedeng magawa sa lugar boating, bisikleta at skating lugar, sports at gaming mga lugar, at isang ilang kainan. Ang Burnham park ay isang lugar din na kung saan pwedeng makakuha ng magandang tanawin sa litrato lalo na sa mga torista, kung nakalimutan magdala ng camera mero ding mga professional photographer for hire sa lugar na ilang oras lang ay pwede ng maihatid sa iyo ang kuhang litrato.
