You know the water in the blue lagoon is a waste water from the district heating of Suðurnes (Keflavik, Grindavik, Njarðvík). It´s clean of cours as it comes from the cleaning system of ther earth but very rich of silica and sulfur. Then somone discoverd that it was very good to bathe in it if you had phsoriasis or any skin problem. But I think it has become much to pricy to go there. I havn´t gone ther for years now as I think it´s toooooo expencive :o But glad you liked it :) And nice photos you got there :)

thnx a lot mariap yes i would say it is overestimated and way too expensive anymore i saw the entrance fee right now it is double price than a visit to Acropolis here in Athens, it is a joke if we compare value of each but ok ... i would say you can stay out and see part of it and simply not bath ........ as i said in my post there much more interesting places in Iceland
