Fountain "Putti"
This small fountain "Putti" is in the Vvedensky garden. It was opened in 1876. The author is architect P.S. Samsonov. The merchant of the 2nd Guild A. Govorov built and installed the fountain, which invested in it own means. Putto - the word Italian, in translation - "baby". In architecture, the concept of "putti" has long existed, as the name of a sculpture in the form of a figure of boys from ancient mythology. Here - a figure of a boy with grapes and a shell, height 1.15 meters, which stands in the middle of a fountain-octagon on one of the alleys of the Vvedensky garden.
