I'll tell you the trip to Thailand that I did with my friend @romangt87. It was exactly a year ago when we set sail for Thailand. Since it has been a fair year and it has been one of my favorite trips, I will put you in Steemit every day at the same time approximately the post explaining that we did that day but the previous year, so it will be more fun and it will not be a giant post. Os voy a contar el viaje a Tailandia que hice con mi amigo @romangt87. Fue hace un año exactamente cuando pusimos rumbo a Tailandia. Dado que ha pasado un año justo y ha sido uno de mis viajes favoritos, os iré poniendo aquí en Steemit cada día a la misma hora aproximadamente el post explicando que hicimos ese día pero del año anterior, así será más divertido y no será un megapost muy difícil de leer al ser tan largo y tener tantas fotos y vídeos. It was the first time I went to Asia, well, I was in the Asian part of Istanbul, but it was the first time I was going to spend one night in Asia so to speak. We went to spend 10 days between Bangkok, an island you will discover in the post of tomorrow and again Bangkok. We flew with the Qatar Airways company in both flights, and I say that for me is the best company with which I have flown, now when I begin to tell you the trip, you will understand why I say this. Well, without further ado, I'm going to start telling you about our fantastic trip.

Era la primera vez que yo iba a Asia, bueno, estuve en la parte asiática de Estambul, pero era la primera vez que iba a hacer noche en Asia por así decirlo. Fuimos a pasar 10 días entre Bangkok, una isla que descubriréis en el post de mañana y de nuevo Bangkok. Volamos con la compañía Qatar Airways haciendo escala en Doha, tanto a la ida como a la vuelta, y os digo que para mí es la mejor companía con la que he volado, ahora cuando empiece a contaros el viaje, entenderéis porque digo esto. Bueno, sin más preámbulos, voy a empezar a contaros nuestro fantástico viaje.

On July 7 at 17:35 a year ago our flight to Doha, which was where we made the stopover to catch the next flight to Bangkok. We were very happy to go on holiday, it was the first time @romangt87 and his girlfriend and my wife and I were leaving together on holiday and were looking forward to fly. Once we got on the plane, we tried to get some sleep, they slept, but it was impossible for me to sleep, so I watched movies, eating and looking at the map, watching from time to time how much we had left to get to Doha.

El 7 de julio a las 17:35 de hace un año salía nuestro vuelo hacia Doha, que era donde hacíamos la escala para coger el siguiente vuelo a Bangkok. Estábamos muy contentos de irnos de vacaciones, era la primera vez que @romangt87 y su novia y mi mujer y yo nos íbamos juntos de vacaciones y estábamos deseando de coger el vuelo. Una vez subidos en el avión, intentamos dormir algo, ellos durmieron algo, para mí es imposible dormir, así que estuve viendo películas, comiendo y mirando al mapa observando de vez en cuando cuanto nos quedaba para llegar a Doha.

When we were arriving, seeing that the next flight did not appear on the screen of the seats with all the stops, we realized one thing, Qatar Airways had sold us the ticket and we only had 20 minutes to catch the flight that took us to Bangkok. Every minute we realized that we were going to miss the flight but we trusted that Qatar Airways would fix it on the fly.

Cuando estábamos llegando, al ver que el siguiente vuelo no aparecía en la pantalla de los asientos con todas las escalas, nos dimos cuenta de una cosa, Qatar Airways nos había vendido el billete y solo teníamos 20 minutos para coger el vuelo que nos llevaba a Bangkok. Cada minuto nos dábamos cuenta de que íbamos a perder el vuelo pero confíabamos en que Qatar Airways lo arreglaría sobre la marcha.

Nothing more to get off the plane, the heat slap was quite big, it was almost 2 o'clock in the morning but without exaggeration, there would be almost 40 degrees. In addition, it was not the only slap we were going to take hahaha ... Upon entering the terminal, a man from Qatar Airways was waiting for us, he was already with another couple and with another girl in the same situation as us, it was impossible to perform the scale. We were talking to him and in the end they got us on a flight that departed at 7 o'clock in the morning to Doha and we would arrive in Bangkok at 7 o'clock in the afternoon, time from Bangkok. What we had planned was to arrive at 11:30 in the morning or so. That broke the plans of the first day, we told the operator of Qatar Airways and after talking to their bosses they compensated each of us with $ 250 for the delay. We were told that this money would have to be charged either in Bangkok or Madrid, since we could not charge it without taking the next flight. So we were invited to breakfast and we were making time for the airport until the time of our next flight.

Nada más bajar del avión, el bofetón de calor fue bastante grande, eran casi las 2 de la madrugada pero sin exagerar, habría casi 40 grados. Además, no era el único bofetón que nos íbamos a llevar jajaja... Al entrar a la terminal, un señor de Qatar Airways nos estaba esperando, estaba ya con otra pareja y con otra chica en la misma situación que nosotros, era imposible realizar la escala. Estuvimos hablando con él y al final nos metieron en un vuelo que salía a las 7 de la mañana de hora de Doha y llegaríamos a Bangkok a las 7 de la tarde de hora de Bangkok. Lo que teníamos previsto era llegar a las 11 y media de la mañana más o menos. Eso nos rompió los planes del primer día, se lo comentamos al operador de Qatar Airways y después de hablar con sus jefes nos indemnizaron a cada uno de nosotros con 250 dólares por el retraso. Nos dijeron que ese dinero lo tendríamos que cobrar o en Bangkok o en Madrid, ya que no podíamos cobrarlo sin coger el siguiente vuelo. Así que nos invitaron a desayunar y estuvimos haciendo tiempo por el aeropuerto hasta que llegara la hora de nuestro siguiente vuelo.

They arrived at 7am, we took the flight to Bangkok and just as on the first flight, they all slept something, I tried and I slept for a few hours but I could no more and I dedicated to see another movies.

Llegaron las 7 de la mañana, tomamos el vuelo a Bangkok e igual que en el primer vuelo, todos durmieron algo, yo lo intenté y dormí unas dos horas pero no pude más y me dediqué a ver otro par de películas.

Once we landed, we collected the luggage and passed the passport control and took a taxi that took us to the hotel, which we had to have arrived about 7 hours before, but without problem, we arrived at the hotel, took the keys to the rooms and we We went to the pool which was on the hotel terrace.

Una vez aterrizamos, recogimos el equipaje y pasamos el control de pasaporte y tomamos un taxi que nos llevaba al hotel, al que teníamos que haber llegado unas 7 horas antes, pero sin problema, llegamos al hotel, cogimos las llaves de las habitaciones y nos fuimos a la piscina que estaba en la terraza del hotel.

After the swim in the pool that we deserved so much after the adventure to get to Bangkok, which obviously we had already lost that whole day, we decided to go to dinner and to sleep since the next day we started another minivan towards a beautiful island. We had dinner at a place near the hotel, and of course, we ate a genuine and authentic Pad Thai from Thailand, to me the Pad Thai was as the delicacy of gods, it was the first thing I ate in almost 24 hours that was not food Plane or airport.

Después del baño en la piscina que tanto merecíamos después de la aventura para llegar a Bangkok, que obviamente, habíamos perdido ya ese día entero, decidimos ir a cenar y a dormir ya que al día siguiente, empezábamos otro miniviaje hacia una isla preciosa. La cena la hicimos en un sitio cerca del hotel, y como no, nos comimos un Pad Thai auténtico y genuido de Tailandia, a mí personalmente me supo a manjar de dioses, era lo primero que comía casi en 24 horas que no fuera comida de avión o aeropuerto.

We left on day 7 and arrived in bangkok on day 8, and ... What fun started our trip through Thailand eh!?!
