St Tropez is probably the best place to spot a celebrity in Southern France because of its peace-giving nature and is thus a source of photographic souvenirs.
France is laden with landscape beauty and its asset, Gorges du Verdon, makes it a strong rival of the Grand Canyon, Arizona. It has steep gorges aiming about 700m downward to the turquoise-green water, a seventh-heaven for the swimmers and boating lovers!
Due to the stinging weather in winter (November to January), it is highly recommended to trot the travel spots in France from April to September. Remember that the Southern part is not over-crowded and you could probably surf the diverse culture on a mere bicycle.
