Bourkes Luck Potholes- South Africa

Found in the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, these natural pools and geological formations are a short trip from the village of Moremela. The formations occur where the Treur river meets the Blyde river. The potholes are forever changing, as the rivers continue to run and re-shape the sandstone.

There are a number of view points to explore the potholes from, including bridges that cross from one side to the other.
