The Perfect Haven for Nature Lovers

After the first "Discovering Places" post, now we go on to the next one. Our next destination for today is none other than the Durano EcoFarm. It is basically a farm with various species of plants and trees especially fruit trees and ornamental and flowering plants (almost a forest actually).

Nature lovers would go "gaga" over this place. You'll hear the sound of nature (birds chirping , crickets doing some crickets sounds and all). The best place to bond with nature as you bond with your family and friends.

This eco-farm resort offers natural spring water flowing through its many levels of swimming pools with varying depths. Some pools are for children (though adults can still hang in there) in fact we only stay there because its nearer from the source and hygenically speaking its cleaner... if you get the picture. :D

The lower the pool, the deeper it becomes.

Now, how do we go up there? (because it's way above the ground, mind you).

From the North Bus terminal, we took a bus bound to Carmen. Then you have to get off at Carmen's Public Market. Once there, you need to ride a tricycle for around 30 pesos. If you want, you can negogiate with the driver to pick you up on your desired time so you won't have to worry your ride back down the market. It's more convenient if you have your own ride.

Once there, you have to do some walking exercise as you go on a trail down to the very spot. You won't get bored though as different types of plants decorated the whole farm. They even have traditional huts build on the ground.

You don't have to worry if you forgot to buy foods or run out of it because there's some grilling going in there and you can just order anything you want.

I am not sure but I think cottages are available for overnight’s stay. They even offer Tree Houses for around 300-500 pesos and up, though I wont advise it if you have smaller kiddos with you.

Tables and chairs are available for your things and foods but if you want a bit more space you can choose their cottages.

Now, back to their pools. The resort offers a total of 5 pools built after the other. Meaning, the water from the first pool flows down to the next one and so on... thus our choice of pool at the top of this post. You don't have to worry much though because the water is forever flowing.

And before I forget, the resort offers comfort rooms and changing area.
