Lost in Happiness - weekend in the east coast of Sicily (video)

Remember we told you about our November weekend in Sicily in on of the older posts? Well, the video is finally ready!
This time you will see our 3 day trip to the east coast of the amazing island of Sicily. One day in Taormina (we didn't got lucky with weather, unfortunately), one day in Siracusa and one day in Catania.
Each of the cities offers a unique perspective into Sicilian landscape and the way to be:
Taormina
Probably one of the most famous cities of Sicily located on a cliff with mesmerising view, ultra romantic tiny streets to get lost in, fashion that only people holding Bitcoin from 2011 can afford, and famous pistacchio cannoli (to die for, trust me).
Siracusa
The city is very well known to movie buffs for it's square where "Malena" has it's famous scene with gorgeous Monica Bellucci not giving a damn thing about people looking down on her and walking bravely through rocking those gorgeous curves of hers and stockings, oh the stocking holders squeezing through the skirt is everything (just watch the movie).

Also, near Siracusa you can find breathtaking volcanic cliffs and a humongous old lighthouse that is a must see for everyone.
Catania
Historical center of Catania is definitely a must visit as it has an atmosphere incomparable to any other place in the world. Buildings built from the volcanic material leave a somewhat mysterious ghostly feeling and together with lively spirit of its inhabitants creates a very particular mix to enjoy.
Also, if you are ever in Catania, don't forget to step by San Birrillo quarter for a boost of positive energy and colour. Also, take a chance to snoop around fantastic vintage shops on your way there. And in case thirst gets to you freshen up with a Seltz of your choice in on of the antique chiosco (mandarino is my favourite one).
So many impressions for a weekend! And such a nice weather for November! Highly, highly recommended! :)

Thank you so much! :) Indeed, it is so impressive how good Iphone can be in making videos! Although we might be upgrading for the next ones and start shooting with proper camera. We use Premier and After effects! :)

I'm happy to read this! Sicily has so much more to offer though! We only had three days and very limitied budget (and not the best weather). But if you go in swimming season that Sicily is just a Paradise on Earh! :) And thank you for the kind words! :)

Made a roadtrip around Sicily a couple of years ago with my ex-girlfriend. I even still recognize some places in Catania (I think)!
