A Memorable Trek to Mt. Mauyog.

It was 1 year ago when I made a planned to go on the mountains locally within Cebu. It was so exciting about that list. But the planned was still remained as planned for some reasons. We decided to cancel it for our own good and for our safety since during that time it's so happen that there was an incident in Bohol involving NPA. And also there was a talk that the said NPA are moving somewhere else. Another reason, was lacking number of persons to join the trek. So we decided to move it into this year.

January 2018, we discussed again about the trekking together with my co-workers(special mention @hae-ra). The date was being set and it was March 10, 2018.

March 10, 2018, The date was on and the weather was ours. At last, the time that we've been waiting for had come. Traveling time from Cebu to Mt. Mauyog Balamban was around 2 to 3 hours(estimated time) or beyond.

The trail to the summit was quite difficult. We had to be extra careful, the pathways are so slight in dimensions and there was a portions that we almost flound because of the vines and the grass overhead. We took a short breaks to catch our breath and continued ascending.

After a few hours of struggling, we reach the top of Mt. Mauyog without any injuries. It was fulfilling indeed.

From the top, we saw a wide angle to the ground or even a certain part of cebu.

It was so refreshing when we are on the top, the blow of the wind that wipe out our sweats, the green trees around, that gives us a fresher look, it's worthy. I just can't explain how to appreciate the power of the nature-The place where I can find peace.
