Tuck-tuck ride with 5 :)
For this trip We took a local Tuck-Tuck which stared at 300 yen. Its not very spacious, no belt, no Safety, just you and fate;) but Its s Nice way of getting you into the smallest areas quickly. Once I did the same in Pakistan, so it couldn’t get worse I thought.
we managed to bargained down the price to about 100 yen ( aprox. 12 dollar) and took A tour of Beijings alleyways which would give us a Glimpse of life as it has been for generations:
This is from the narrow streets commonly associated with traditional courtyard residences.
I liked this one. Here you see an old man inspecting his little garden. He just stood there watching...
Such neighborhoods as you saw here’s are demolished to make way for new roads and buildings.
Luckily some designated areas are being protected, and thus becomes an attractive tourist sight.
It’s one for the bucket list if you’re in Beijing

Let go of all your western ideas of safety (like safety belts, what to not eat etc) and you will blend more in with the locals and enjoy your holiday so much more.

It seems that by riding the local tuck-tuck you can go to the less touristy area. That's great to know the real life of people there. Enjoy your trip.
