Surprise!!!
Surprise is walking into a Japanese restaurant whilst on holiday in Okinawa, ordering off a menu with no photos and no English when you know very limited Japanese.
驚喜就是在沖繩旅遊時，在完全不懂日文情況下走進一間又沒英文又沒相片餐牌的居酒屋。
Surprise is when everything you ordered is not what you had expected and tastes so delicious that you feel this is the way holidays should be.
驚喜就是選的每碟食物完來極美味，感覺上旅遊就應該是這樣的。
Nice! Okinawa is a great place, went there last year summer and it's among my most favorite ones in Japan! Going into japanese restaurants with menu that you cannot understand is exciting, you dunno what you'd get! How do you find your trip in okinawa other than food?
It was very un Japan and have their own unique culture. I loved driving around the coast and we drove all the way up to the most northern part where there were less tourists. Would definitely like to go back again as its only less than two hours away by flight for me.
Ya i agree its very unlike japan. I went there for 8 days once and i found it not enough. Will surely make another visit there. The northern part has fewer tourists probably because there aren't many tourists spots? As far as i can recall i only remember the aquarium in the north. I'd also love to visit the islands near okinawa as they seem beautiful, did you go there too?
There is Cape Hedo and Dai Sekirinzan Park at the most northern tip, both were worth visiting and you get great view at the top of the Park.. There were hardly any other cars as we were driving up on route 58 which itself is a nice drive as it's right along the coast. The other islands will have to wait for the next trip!
