In the minds of most people, Mexico is usually seen as a beach resort destination or a corrupt narco-state run by drug lords. But Mexico is a beautiful country with lots of sombreros, chilli, mariachi music and much more..
Here are some fun facts you might want to know:
- Caesar salad was invented in Mexico.
- Mexico has the world’s smallest volcano.
- Artists can pay their taxes using artwork that they create.
- Mexicans sing Las Mañanitas instead of Happy Birthday.
- Xoloitzcuintli is the national dog.
Fun fact:
- It’s okay to be late. It’s totally fine to be late by 30 minutes :D
- In Mexico you put a lime on top of almost everything and almost everything is eaten with corn and chilli.
- On Sunday you cannot buy beer or any alcohol after 2 p.m. in some Mexican states.

I did not know most of that. So do you feel safe in most areas there. I guess it is the impression we are feed that it is very dangerous in many places.
Seeing that I am always running late, I might actually be ok if 30 minutes late is cool LOL.
You know Im from Europe so Im everytime on time or 5 mins before :D Sometimes its very hard to handl Mexican lifestyle but I really love Mexico, especially life in PDC ;)
It is ok to be late half hour?! I wanna move there! 😂
