We went to Myanmar during the hottest season in southeast Asia last April. As many people know, Myanmar is a smiling buddhist country, most people are devout buddhists. Myanmar is also known for its large amount of temples.

Bagan is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Myanmar. It has time-honored history and civilization. It is also known as the "city of ten thousand temples". Where ever you point your finger, there is a temple.
Bagan was once a prosperous ancient city. Until now you still can feel the great history of it.

在去年四月东南亚最热的时候去了缅甸，缅甸是一个微笑佛国，人们多数是虔诚的佛教徒，缅甸也以寺庙众多文明。历史悠久的蒲甘也是缅甸最著名的旅游景点，被称为“万塔之城”，手指之处，皆为佛塔。
蒲甘曾经是一代古王朝，盛极一时。如今只剩下历史的遗迹让我们凭吊。

The best way to visit Bagan is rent a motorbike and driving around in Bagan, it’s good that you can slowly visit those temples.

在蒲甘最佳的游览方式就是租一辆当地的摩托车，然后慢慢的探索这些古庙。

When foreigners enter Bagan, you have to pay the city protection fee. But it’s a controversial issue, because Myanmar was occupied by the military for a long time, so the income from tourism all goes into the local soldiers’ pocket. The best way to support the local economy is to spend more on small business vendors and now Myanmar's economy is booming.

蒲甘有古城保护费，外国游客进入要交城建费，当然这是非常有争议的，因为由于缅甸长时间被军统占领，所以旅游业所得费用几乎全进了当地军人的口袋。对支持当地经济最好的办法就是多在小商小贩那里消费，不过如今缅甸的经济也在飞速发展。

We were in Myanmar during local New Year's. All the trains and buses were off and we had to hitchhike to Bagan.

我们在缅甸的时候正逢缅甸新年，那几天所有火车汽车停运，我们无奈之下只好搭当地人的车前往蒲甘。

Bagan is a very peaceful and famous ancient city, compared to other cities in Myanmar, there are more tourists, so it also has good tourism facilities, and there are many options for accommodation.

蒲甘是一座非常著名的古城，游客相对缅甸其他地方较多多，旅游设施也相对完善，住宿也有很多选择。

Wandering between the temples in Bagan, silence was all around. I felt the time and space interlacing, lost in the legacy of history. It reminds me of Tomb Raider, and I think that there will be magic movies hold in Bagan in the future.

游走在蒲甘的寺庙之间，四下空旷，很容易让人觉得时空交错，迷失在古迹中。这里让我想起了古墓丽影，估计不久的将来也会有魔幻电影来此取景吧。
