Traffic in Holland. Boats first!
This is a late post from last week as internet access has been difficult to get.
Haven't gone anywhere yet, but the hot water's now working. Beautiful weather here and the cycling is just great. Out on the bikes today, we did a recky along the canal. There are lots of lifting bridges and we were wondering how often they'd lift for the boats. Ha!! Drivers nightmare! as soon as a boat approaches a bridge, traffic lights and barriers stop the traffic and boats go through.
It's Sunday so not much work going on. But we're falling behind time a bit now, Deirdre's flying in on Thursday expecting to meet us on the way into Amsterdam, So I'll be chasing the engineer to get the steering sorted first thing in the morning.
wellcome
Thanks Alona
Exciting adventures
