Hi! Today, I will share you the Old Town Square
The Old Town Square in Prague is one of the popular places where crowds of travelers gather with its beautiful architecture, historical background and lively atmosphere. The square has not changed much since the days it was founded in the 12th century and the city functions as a market place.
The square that hosts the Old City Hall and the Astronomical Clock which leads to the 1400's, is considered as the center of historical revitalization in the city. In 1915, a monument was added by the religious reformist Jan Hus.
To walk around at the beginning of the activities that you have done in the past, to watch the coming of a corner, and to examine the sculpture of Jan Hus, the church reformer in the heart of the square.
In addition to the historical buildings, there are various restaurants and cafes on the pavement, especially over the summer months, due to the fact that both locals and strangers prefer the square.
In the evenings, the square is filled with street musicians, demonstrators and tourists gathering to watch them, organizing fun events.
Travelers who recently visited Prague agree that the Old Town Square is a very ideal place to start a city trip.
So they think sitting in one of the cafes in the square is a very enjoyable activity to watch as they come and go. To get to the historical square of Prague you need to use the Staromestska metro station.
