Trip to Markhu and Kulekhani Dam

Markhu is a village development committee in Makwanpur District in the Narayani Zone of southern Nepal. Markhu is a small village at the top of Kulekhani reservoir and is a beautiful and peaceful place to be. A suspension bridge right above the kulekhani reservoir adds beauty and attractions to the people. You can walk through the bridge, take photos and have fun.

Kulekhani Dam which is 7KM in distance, is a panoramic landscape. It is the largest man-made lake (in Nepal), for Kulekhani Hydropower project, also known as Indra Sarobar. Kulekhani is famous for fishing, hiking, trekking and boating. Boating there will make you feel like you are floating upon the shiny diamond flame. The peaceful pond, boating in here will surely make you fall in love with the nature.
