Discover the Camotes Island, Cebu

Hi steemians if you are an adventurous individual, specially on beaches, caves, various activities, peace, clean and in a budget, Camotes Island is a perfect getaway for solo, couple and a group of adventurers.

I wanted to tell you that among 6 of my friends and I budgeted ourselves for 1,000 pesos individually!, yeah you heard it but without checking in hotel we just want adventure! For that amount we travelled to the island with a ferry boat back and fort, visited 2 beautiful beaches, 2 wonderful caves and a lake but there are more places to visit but cannot afford for just one day.

For 360 pesos, you could ride the ferry back and fort using economy, lot more expensive when using air conditioned.

We arrived there afternoon and decided to visit the santiago bay beach resort. There is no entrance free.

Amazed for it solemn and quite place, never expected for a public beach to be so silent only the wind and water you could heard wisphering on to your ears. The superfined sand and a crystal clear water.

We slept overnight there using tent with a rent amount of 200 pesos.

I woke up early morning to see the sunrise and was amazed.

The private resort besides the public beach, it is on a top of mountain rock formation with an affordable price.

Breakfast ready!, for just 1,000 pesos.

After breakfast we decided to get away to travel the other four spot.

Timubo Cave 15 entrance fee.

Paraiso Cave 25 entrance fee plus 10 if you swim inside.

Lake Danao the largest lake in Central Visayas. Several water activities can be enjoyed when visiting this places such as Kayaking, boating and much more, 15 entrance fee.

Lastly the, Mangodlong Rock Resort is quite small but interesting at the same time becuase of its rock forms, and a beach volley court.Entance fee is 40 pesos.

PS. If you want to visit all the tourists spot on Camotes Island you gonna make it for a couple of days because every spots you visit you will gonna hang of it becuase of its beauty, you cannot missed every moment. We used our 1 day for just 5 out of several spots in Camotes.
