Pilanesberg National Park, South Africa
Hi guys,
Another addition to my list of great places to visit in South Africa, the Pilanesberg National Park.
This game park has over 7000 animals, 300 bird species, and more than 200km of roads. They also have the Big 5, which is always a great day out if you get the see them all.
They offer game drives, hot air balloon rides and also guided walking safaris.
Getting there is reasonably easy if you're traveling from Johannesburg or Pretoria, and they also have their own air field if you want to charter a plane.
Pretoria, 150 km, 1.5 hrs
Johannesburg, 170 km, 2 hrs
Cape Town, 1 500 km, 18 hrs
Durban, 700 km, 8 hrs
