Spontaneous Cancun! pt 1 - Maximizing Points

Hi Steemit Friends:
What a better way to escape the cold in New York than to head south to Cancun! I'd like to share some warm adventures with you this thanksgiving. All we wanted to do was relax, get out of the hustle and bustle and just not have to think for a few days. At first we were going to do a cruise but they were all completely booked by the time we made a decision. Coincidentally our friends missed their flight to India so they were staying with us in New York. “Let’s go to Cancun guys!” Hmm... relax on a beach, do nothing and get drinks all day? Why not! So we booked a last minute plane ticket to cancun used 25k Hyatt points per a night and got a room at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

After landing the bell boy took us for a private check in at the Turquoise tower of the hotel. Lucky for us we were upgraded to their suites which gives us our own private balcony jacuzzi. Best of all we get access to the rooftop adults only infinity pool and spa to use at your leisure. This was the start to a great vacation. First thing we did once we got our room settled was walked to the buffet to fill up our bellies and order a few mojitos.

For dinner we went to the teppanyaki restaurant where we were treated to a show of some knife skills and flaming volcanos. So much food and never having to think about the bill. It was our friends first time coming to an All- Inclusive and he was mind blown. Of course we saved room for the best part of the day dessert!!!
They had a whole dessert parlor where you can walk in and eat anything you want including a chocolate fountain and cotton candy! Am I in heaven?

Lastly to end our day we took advantage of the jacuzzi and took a bubble bath at night!
