Heaven is a place on earth - Saliara or Marble beach, Thassos, Greece

The ninth day on the Greek island of Thassos, the last day of our vacation, a beautiful holiday, a magical emerald world. This island is called "Floating Forest". And indeed, the scent of the pines of this island is unforgettable. Although the island is dominated by the green color, in all nuances, on its northern side there is a magical turquoise beach, the most popular and most beautiful of all - Saliara or Marble beach.

We planned every day of our vacation, so we saved the last day for this exotic beach. We headed for the beach early in the morning, because we wanted to avoid a crowd, knowing that the beach is only 70 meters long and that it is often crowded with tourists. But, the road we were driving was very dusty. The cloud of dust rose around us. Along the road we saw a couple of trucks carrying marble. My husband became nervous, we'll have to wash the car. "Hey, we're going to the most beautiful beach on the island, relax, don't let stupid dust mess up your mood!" I tried to cheer him up. Fortunately, through the branches of high pines we saw our destination, an incredible Marble Beach, whose color resembles the Caribbean Sea. And magic started.

A beautiful turquoise sea, a dazzling white beach with small marble pebbles, which the sea perfectly shaped, a cane sunshade, a beautiful sunny day, in short a real paradise. Luckily, there were not a lot of people, we heard a crowd of people can spoil the impression. Fortunately, it was June, when the season was not at its peak. We picked a place, left things, and then immediately jumped into the warm sea of incredible color.

I swam and sang: "Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth? Ooh, heaven is a place on earth!" :)

Although I love sandy beaches, I don't like when the sand gets so warm that you can't walk on it. But the marble little stones are perfectly cold and very comfortable for walking and lying. We enjoyed in the divine gentle blue color of the sea and whiteness of the beach.

We spent all day on this beach, swimming and sunbathing. The only walk was to unusual rocks, placed right next to the beach. Incredibly shaped, they dipped in clear water, creating a very picturesque ambient.

The sun slowly finished its journey to the west. We were still on the beach, determined to stay up to the dark. It was hard to separate from this gorgeous beach. Then we promised ourselves and this magical place - we'll be back!
