THAILAND
Thailand is located in Asia-southeast Asia. Neighbors are Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia. As border countries are also attractive, Thailand route can be taken out alone and a good combination can be made in other countries.
HOW TO GO TO THAILAND
Thailand's capital is Bangkok. You can get to Bangkok and Phuket by direct and direct flights from Istanbul.
THY has direct access to Bangkok and Phuket while another option is to travel to Singapore with Singapore Airlines. Which is very useful in both preferences. You have the opportunity to earn miles on both airline flights, direct or indirect. Therefore, a Far East flight (roundtrip) earns miles.
Apart from the airline we are talking about, what you can use is the following; Emirates, Etihad
TRANSPORT IN THAILAND
During the Thai tour, we can say that there is no means of transportation that we have not used in terms of transportation within Thailand. As the country has developed so much in the field of tourism, the visitor also places great importance on the ease of transportation.
Airplane: Thailand has to use airplanes if there is more than one place to see, regardless of how the tour is done, and if there is no land transportation to these places. Since 2008, the most preferred mode of transport in Thailand is my preferred transport plane. However, with years of depreciation of the Turkish currency, even the airplane tickets, which we now call two or three kuruş, are expensive for us. But do not worry, we have nice alternatives.
Bus: We recently had a great tour of Thailand in 2015. We had the opportunity to visit the most beautiful cities of Thailand's most beautiful islands for 60 days. We also traveled by bus on this number.
There are 2 bus terminals in Bangkok's capital city of Thailand. North and South terminal. Why did they make that distinction? The buses to the north depart from the northern terminal and the ones to the south depart from the southern terminal.
As it is in the same capital city, there are surely bus terminals in small islands and islands.
Where to go by bus
Bangkok - Phuket / Krabi / Suratthani / Pattaya / Trat / Satun
Go to Suratthani by bus from Bangkok for cheap transport to Koh Samui island. From here it is to go to Koh Samui island by boat.
Koh Chang, Koh Mak and Koh Kood islands have to go by bus from Bangkok to Trat. Trat should go to the pier by taxi to the center and cross the island by ferry. For more information, read our Koh Chang Transportation article.
For Koh Samet island, you should take a bus from Bangkok to Pattaya and transfer from Pattaya to Rayong bus. The blue minibuses from the Rayong bus terminal need to reach the Ban Phe pier and board the ferry. For more information, read our Koh Samet Transportation article.
Phuket, Krabi, Khao Lak are all very close together. I arrived in Phuket by bus from Bangkok. From there it will be the right way to do Khao Lak (2 hours) or Krabi (1 hour). For more information read our Phuket Transportation article.
It is also important to remember that you can travel internationally with buses that eliminate the need for transportation anywhere in the country or close to where you want to go.
Thailand - Cambodia: You can bus your way from Thailand to Cambodia. You can get your Cambodia vizeniz from Turkey before you go to the gate or go. Border crossing is pretty easy. We did not have any trouble. Of course we do not go by bus. Sometimes such campaigns take place that the airline and bus fare comes to mind. It's good to check before you go again.
Bus Fee: 33 USD

The real name of the temple is Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan. The Emerald Buddha is the first temple to be preserved. The Emerald Buddha was moved here by the construction of the temple of Wat Phra Kaew. The 82 meter long tower of the temple has a Khmer style.
Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew (Old City / Khao San): The temple built on an area of 218,400 square meters was the official residence of the Kingdom of Thailand until 1925. Now the Royal does not live here. Built in 1782 by King I. Ramayas, the palace now carries its doors to visitors. The most important point worth seeing in the palace complex is the Zümrüt Buddha, which has been in the temple since 1784. Also, do not ignore the Ramaican figures around the temple, the lion figures, guardian angel figures, and other mystical figures that are considered temple guardians.
Wat Pho (Old City): It is located at the end of Grand Palace. The temple, whose real name is Wat Phra Chetuphon Vimolmangklararm Rajwaramahaviharn, is referred to as the Buddha Buddha Temple. You can pamper yourself at the temple, which is famous for its Thai massage.
Chatuchak Night Market: Chatuchak, one of the world's best-known and largest open-air markets, is only open on Saturdays and Sundays in Bangkok. It is a very colorful and impressive market where you will find yourself looking for everything you are looking for. Floating Market - Floating Market (Damnoen Sudauk): The floating bazaar which is mostly visited with daily tours is 72 km away from Bangkok. Damnoen Floating bazaar is a colorful place worth seeing as it floods with locals selling dozens of boats on the canal. After the bus journey to the floating bazaar, which is not accessible by road, boats are being accompanied.
THAILAND MEALS
As far as the issue is concerned, what we are going to eat is what Turks first worry about. It smells like Thailand, the food does not fit our taste buds and so on. Okay, we understand you, maybe because you are going to go for the first time, you have prejudices with what you hear from there. The only thing you need to worry about is that there are plenty of spices apart from it. Tom Yum Goong fish soup, Pad Thai noodle dish, Tom Kha Kai chicken coconut soup, Gaeng Keow Wan Kai curry sauce chicken and more ....

But in terms of island tours, you should also know that Thailand's richest boat tours take place here. You have 2 options for accommodation. One is Ao Nang and the other is Railay beach.
Koh Lanta Island (Andaman Sea): A hippopotamus that is far from neon lights and big ones Koh Lanta is a rather isolated island compared to other Thai islands. Unfortunately Koh Lanta Island, where transportation is only made from Krabi, is not a chance to get together. If you are going here you need to stay at least 1 night. Nightlife on Phi Phi island, it is impossible to see the crowd on Ao Nang beach in this koskoca island. Obviously if you want to listen to the mind and integrate with nature this island is for you.
Koh Chang Island (Andaman Sea): We discovered in Koh Chang Island, our travels in Thailand, which lasted for 90 days 2 years ago. We have already looked at it until we discover it, even by the Europeans. Numerous beaches are at the top of the islands, which are known for their underwater beauty and the opportunity to enjoy the rainforest. Only 10 of these 10 are in one session. This is Koh Lipe. To observe the marine life on this voyage, this island is the greatest activity of the island to do the daily snorkel tour. These island communities are part of the Tarutao National Park, Thailand's second largest national park.

Koh Tao Island (Gulf of Thailand): The island, slightly larger than 21 km², is located 70 km east of the coastal line between Suratthani and Chumphon.
Koh Kood Island: Koh Kood Island is the 2nd largest in the Koh Chang archipelago and the 4th largest island in Thailand at the same time. Located 80 km from Trat, the island is the farthest point on the mainland. The island is like a Koh Chang island, which is mountainous and a 70% covered with rain forests, the same geographical structure. The highest peak of the island is the Khao Phaentee hill at the height of 315 meters and south of the island.
The island combines charming beauty, crystal clear sea, untouched beaches, stunning waterfalls and flawless beauties. The island, which we consider to be a complete honeymoon island, is definitely an island where couples will come and enjoy without children.
Similan Island: Group of Similan Islands (9 island group) It is the most famous and most famous of Andaman sea. It is also one of the top 10 diving points in the world.
Similan means 9 in Malay language. Each Similan Island has a name. THE BEST SEASON FOR THAILAND
The most confusing truth I come to right is the wrongs we know. Thailand is a tropical country with a tropical climate. This means that the average temperature in the country is 28 degrees a year. But the climate in Thailand is actually divided into dry and rainy season. The best time to go starts in November and continues until April. In the meantime, Thailand generally has a rainless and sunny climate. We recommend that you do not go to the country that entered the rainy season from May to October. Believe in this period is not like going into the sea. Please take care to make your plans between November and April so that your holiday is not poison.
Festivals and Religious Ceremonies
Maha Puja Festival (full moon of February)
Songkran Water Festival - Thai New Year (12-16 April)
Bun Bang Fai Rocket Festival (May)
Loy Krathong Festival (November)
Excellent post. Congratulations. I'm following you
