Last summer i visited the amazing greek island called Santorini. To visit that place was a dream come true. I spend two whole weeks on this beautiful island and i visited a lot of sights.
As this is the top tourist destination in Greece, the island is famous for the impressive caldera, the volcano and the romantic sunset. In fact, it is frequently included among the best destinations in the world!
Santorini island was the site of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in the world that destroyed the earliest settlements on a formerly single island, and created the current geological caldera. A giant central, rectangular lagoon, which measures about 12 by 7 km (7.5 by 4.3 mi), is surrounded by 300 m (980 ft) high, steep cliffs on three sides.

Another place i visited was Oia. Oia is the most famous of all villages in Santorini and it is situated on top of an impressive cliff and offers a spectacular view over the volcano. It is a traditional village with graphic houses, narrow streets and quite life and blue domed churches. Each street has plenty of tourist shops, taverns and coffee houses.

Santorini is also known for the stunning sunsets. Santorini’s sunset enters your soul and lives there forever. Each spot shows you the best sunset with its own colors and landscape. This is a mix of pure romance and magic!

The beaches in Santorini are much different than other beaches in Greece due to their special geographical features. Red and black are the most popular.

The view i had from the balcony of my hotel room was breathtaking and definately unforgetable.
I stayed in this hotel for 2 whole weeks and i only have positive experiences.
