Darjeeling tour with friends-part 1
Hi steemtians,Today I am sharing my tour experience to Darjeeling.
Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state of India, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.
We had visited the hill station in December 2014 with my friends. I am sharing some flicks of tour.

This is the picture of Darjeeling convent School. It is one of the prestigious school in this hill station. Many films have been shoot here.
This picture was taken in Happy Valley tea estate.Happy Valley Tea estate is a tea garden of Famous Darjeeling Tea.It was established on 1854 and it is the second largest tea estate of Darjeeling.
It is the Rope way in Darjeeling.
It is one of a mountain flower noticed there.
