Hope you are doing great. Last time I introduced you a unique hiking gem in San Diego, Potato Chip Rock. Thank you for those who left a comment and upvoted my post. I am really appreciate it~Today, I would like to continue my San Diego trip by exploring San Diego Sea World.

San Diego Sea World 聖地牙哥海洋世界

San Diego Sea World is a major attraction in San Diego. It's mild climate and coastal scenery, attracts lots of visitors annually from all over world. It is a oceanarium, animal theme park famous for its large variety of marine animal and different animal performances like captive killer whale, dolphin and sea lion. On their official website, the price for 1-day ticket is $74.99. And I get mine for USD$55 with a student discount. You can always find some discount online, so I suggest purchase the tickets online beforehand. Without further ado, let's begin our today's journey~

聖地亞哥溫和的氣候和美麗的沿海風光吸引了不少世界各地的旅客，位於聖地牙哥米遜灣內的海洋世界是其中一個主要景點，是一座以不同的海洋生物和鯨豚，海獅表演聞名的超大型海洋生物主題樂園及水族館，除了這些表演，還有一些大型的遊樂設施。門票是在學校的ticket office購買，$55美金一張，比起官網的$74.99平宜了很多。我想網上預購應該會比現場門票平宜很多，所以建議大家預先購票。

To begin our journey, we take a group photo at the entrance.

我和家人在入口處的合照，大型標誌上有殺人鯨Shamu的卡通造型，Shamu可是海洋世界的靈魂人物。

Penguin Encounter 企鵝邂逅館

To began our journey, we went to the first attraction, Penguin Encounter near the entrance. We are amazed by the numerous numbers and various types of penguins here. Penguin Encounter provides an opportunity for the visitors to encounter nearly 300 penguins with a population includes Emperor penguins, and smaller Adelie, Gentoo and Macaroni penguins.

我們先到最近門口的展覽館，企鵝邂逅館。這個展館內有8種不同品種的企鵝，收納了近800隻企鵝，其中以帝王企鵝最特別，展區内模擬南極自然棲息地，讓訪客可以看到他們在覆蓋雪的冰地滑行和游泳池暢泳。

Here's the Humboldt penguins. I was quite shocked when I find them outside the exhibits. I never notice that Penguins can live in a warm-weather environment. Humboldt penguin is actually a penguin that live along the tropical and temperate eastern Pacific Ocean.

出了企鵝邂逅館後，門口處有另一種新奇的企鵝品種，漢波徳企鵝。來這個展館前，從來沒想過企鵝可以在溫暖的環境生活，所以發現它是我也滿驚訝的。漢波徳企鵝原來是分布於南美洲亞熱帶地區，是一種身活在熱帶地區的企鵝

Shamu Stadium 殺人鯨表演

Shamu general show is the most spectacular and popular acrobatic show in Sea World. It's name after the first captive killer whale who performed in the late 1960s and early 1970s in Sea World. It's a must-see show in Sea World as not many animal theme parks feature performances from killer whale and their trainers. If you don't want to sit far from the stage or in the splash zone at the front, I suggest you reserve your seats at least 30 minutes before the show. We got there 15 minutes before the show and most of the seats are taken.

來海洋世界最重要的事情之一就是看表演，其中殺人鯨表演Shamu Show是裏面最受歡迎也是最壯觀震撼的，我們當然不會錯過啦。這個殺人鯨表演的名字Shamu Show是以第一條在海洋世界表演的殺人鯨命名，Shamu可是當時的人氣名星，不少人為一睹她的風采而購票，到現在殺人鯨表演這也是海洋世界的人氣表演。因為看的人很多，所以建議大家至少提早30分鐘到達表演場地，不然可能會坐得離表演池比較遠，或只可以坐在Splash Zone即是會被噴濕的區域。如果想體驗一下被殺人鯨用水潑涼決一下，坐這裡也很不錯。

The killer whale performance are very impressive, they followed the trainers' instruction to splashes,twirls, leaps into the air.

園內很有人氣的殺人鯨做各項高難度表演, 他們遵循訓練師的指示，飛濺，旋轉，在空中飛躍。

The whale is plashing the crowd in the wet zone. I bet the audiences sat in the front rows will get all wet after the show lol.
最精采的來了, 為什麼會有噴濕區? 因為殺人鯨會用他的尾巴用力一掃, 大量的水往觀眾席排山倒海而來，坐在前排的觀眾應該全身濕透。

Wild Arctic 野生北極世界

After the show, we went to the Wild Arctic. Look what we have here, the beluga whale in the waters of their naturalistic habitat. They always look friendly with a smiley face that make me fall in love with them. A little smile makes the world a beautiful place, right?

表演結束後，我們來到野生北極世界，這裡有可愛的白鯨，他們長得有點像海豚，但臉上總帶著微笑，感覺很和善。

Turtle Reef 海龜礁

After that, we went to a cute corner dedicated to the turtles, the Turtle Reef.You can see a large aquarium filled with sea turtles and fishes. They also have interaction turtle game.

之後我們去了海龜礁，裏面好幾隻大小不一的海龜還有色彩繽紛的熱帶魚。

Dolphin Point 海豚世界

Last but not least, we went to the Dolphin Point. I feel awesome to have the opportunity to come face-to-face with a dolphin as it is a open water exhibit.

最後我們來到海豚世界，是一個開方式的水展，在這裡可以跟海豚面對面接觸，感覺好棒喔。

I guess he is saying hello to me :P

我想它應該是在跟我們打招呼，好可愛:P

What's more, they offer an opportunity for people to swim with dolphins and learning the hand signals for USD$200 per person. ;S I think this would be a extraordinary experience to interact directly with dolphins but it's out of our budgets.

在這裡還可以一試和海豚游泳的滋味和學習用手勢向它們發出指令，不過每人盛惠200美元。我們想了想，跟海豚游泳固然是一個很酷的體驗，不過價格真的太貴了，所以我們決定還是不參加。

Opinion 評價 :

To be honest, it's quite similar to Ocean Park,which is also a animal theme park, in Hong Kong. I recommended people who never been to a marine-mammal theme to include San Diego Sea World in their schedule. It would be an awesome experience to explore the animal encounters and animal shows especially for animal lovers. If you have been to the Ocean Park in Hong Kong, then I think you can skip this attraction.

我想大家都會想知道我是否推薦海洋世界，我推薦沒有去過動物樂園的朋友去，特別是很喜歡動物的朋友和小朋友，因為園區有很多接觸不同海洋生物品種的機會及從中學習到他們的身體特徵和生活環境，等等。但對我而言，聖地亞哥的海洋世界跟香港的海洋公園很類似，同樣都是動物主題樂園。例如，大家都有不同海洋生物的展館，海豚表演，海獅表演，一些機動遊戲等等。所以去過海洋公園的朋友，如果行程緊湊，我想大家可以先選擇去其他地方，有剩餘時間再選擇這裡。
