Visiting the beautiful Majorelle Garden in Marrakesh, Morocco

in #travel8 years ago

Hello friends,

Today I am going to talk about the Majorelle Garden in Marrakesh, Morocco. This twelve-acre garden was designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s and 1930s. The special shade of blue he used extensively in the garden and its buildings is named after him—Majorelle Blue.

The garden has been owned since 1980 by French fashion designer Yves Saint-Laurent and partner Pierre Bergé (1).

Hey litlle fellow!

That was a nice collection of photos of the garden! I like the information you added, too.

Thank you for posting these lovely photographs @koskl. You managed to get some really good reflections as well. Always amazing how you seem to get everything in the photograph.....speaking here of the tall palms.
Happy New Year.
