The treasures of the Vatican, Part VI
Hello Steemians,
Today I would like to share with you my last images of the Vatican Museum.
As I mentioned before, the Vatican Museum belongs among the most impressive museums I have visited so far.
There are so many beautiful paintings, statues, religious artifacts, even tapestries. And most of the ceilings are painted as well.
But the pièce de résistance of the Museum is arguably the Sistine Chapel (Cappella Sistina). Its ceiling was painted by Michelangelo.
And that's the last of my posts about the Vatican and its treasures. I hope you liked my images, and that you will visit it, if you ever visit Rome.
Have a good day, and we'll speak again soon!
We'll see to that. You do not get a chance every day to see the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel 😊
thank you photo-trail. 8-)
Oh, you've resteemed.
Doubly kind of you.
Hi koskl. This is all beautiful art which at today costs sums up to a lot of money; by any chance where you able to ask those in charge of it when can they place some money into action instead of asking everybody else to give and help. The millions of US dollars and other currencies that they have in banks around the world would definitely help out of poverty quite a lot of human beings. Again, I've wondered always what do they do with that money.
@indepthstory: These are difficult questions to ask. They make you VERY unpopular.
And when you're in Rome, you do what the Romans do, i.e.
See no evil, hear no evil, SPEAK no evil.
8-)
p.s. glad u liked my pictures. not many others do by the looks of it!
Nice and interesting:)
