Maranum Falls
Good evening and evening Steemit friends! It is such a beautiful humid night now in the Philippines. How is your evening or morning going? I think I need to dip in a cool water now. Anyway, this post is about that now, a nice cool dip somewhere with mother nature. I am still talking about Pangasinan, yes I am still not over it. I was checking a few travel destinations there just in case I get back to the north any time soon. Time to add another marvelous spot on your list.

Farming is still one of the main livelihood is Pangasinan but tourism industry is still thriving a bit less but there are already few resorts that is open to the the tourists, may it be locals or not. It is not that hard to find a place for you to stay there if you want a break from the stressful city life.

We are heading to the town of Natividad where you can find one of their pride, the Maranum Falls. Maranum in Ilocano term means "matubig" or watery. The trail towards the falls is not that strenuous which is 10 to 15 minutes by foot. It is said that the water from the falls were once used by the local towns but it seems like the the dam built for it is no longer used these days. Currently, the Maranum Falls is the only scenic spot loved by locals and some few tourists who knows about it. It is absolutely free and no whatsoever entrance fees.

How high the falls and how its catch basin?
It wasnt really mention alot in my source of how high it is but there's one who told it's about 15ft wide. It wasnt that high i think. 😊 Here's one : travelnorthphil
