Not all hills and greenery are in Himachal, try Rajasthan too.

Probably, you are guessing Mount Abu from Rajasthan as soon as you read the title, and you might have been correct but then that would be such a usual and predictable answer. There are more beauties to Rajasthan then the Heritage and culture, for which it is known the most.

The place that I am talking about is , I was myself introduced to such a place by one of my teacher, who was herself a great traveler. Since we knew she is a great traveler, we asked her to take us somewhere with her. By luck, you could say, she was going to this place Goramghat day after tomorrow from the day we asked her as he asked us if we would love to go with her.

Goramghat is a place, few kms ahead of city of lakes i.e Udaipur. One has to reach to kalamgaht by bus, taxi, train or any mean and then has to take a train to Goramghat becuase that's the only way to reach there.

The trip by train is so adventurous. There come moments when the train is crossing the bridge and is tilted at great angle and we had privilege to sit at the door steps. I got a great goosebumps along with thrill inside me. It felt almost as we will fell but still you wanna see what's below your track.

The population of that village is just 4 people. People come at dawn, trek to the waterfall there, some to visit the temple at the top and then return by the evening.

It is all surrounded by dense forest. Everywhere there's nothing but forest. The place where we were staying was a small land which came after crossing the train bridge and was just next to railways line. It was a hill at our back, then our camping site then the railways track and then the ditch. It was scary as hell. To go back to the village, you have to cross a long bridge and there was nothing to move forward to other than jungle.

We did a great trek to a leapord point. It is said that there are maximum chance to spot a leopard and that's why we all were given a big knife and a lighter for self defense and safety purpose. Even this was such a thrilling thing.

Other day we trekked to the waterfall. A lot of local tourist were already there, enjoying the nature and having a great time lying and playing in water. But we choosed the highest spot to ourselves. The trek was so tiring, and it was hot summer, so it drained out all of our energy.

We cooked our own food amidst the forest, stayed in camps, had bonfire and lot of dance and talks. We slept to the sound of all kind of insects and waked up with the train passing just next to our camps and chimpanzee eating our food. All this may create a filmy picture in your mind, lot of friends, talks, music and connections. But trust me, it's more than that. More then what you see in the movies.

The place could sound a little scary, may seem scary at first, seeing no human, so many weird birds cooing in night and all you feel, may be some leopard will come and attack you, which is all correct but that is what adventure is like.

Have you been to such adventure, or even more?? Share your experiences with me :)))
