Travel in Taiwan - The best place to find fresh food is at a local Miaoli City market (Photos)
It was my first time to experience a Taiwan morning market and I was very excited to see what I can find there.
The market starts early in the morning where all the locals go there to get daily fresh vegetables. Everything is packed out in a narrow street between buildings with just enough space for a car or a small truck to fit through.
You will find a huge variety of exotic and tropical fruit and vegetables, which are quite new for me to see. The fruit and vegetables grow very well in Taiwan and you can see that by the size of them.
What I love is that you can get a big variety of fresh fish on a daily basis and they won’t cost you an arm or a leg.
