The older generation would say it's boring because they'll get used to the cherry blossom everywhere, and, there are many UNESCO places that might be interesting but lots of walking needed. If you're good to go for lots of walking. it'll surely be an awesome trip for you :D
Ah, my favorite is to visit different kind of places, old and new. Walking is totally ok too :) just need the right traveling partner.
