Windmills, the architectural icon of the Dutch. Get to visit a few functional traditional windmills that still use to make cheese, irrigation, and threading. It was interesting to see how the mechanism works from the wind turning the sweep, and move all the wheels and motors to work on a specific task. The innovation and creativity involved at that time were definitely marvelous. This is how the Dutch became a strong force in the world as their productivity increased with this technology.
