Dubrovnik is the most famous, most visited and most expensive tourist destination on the Adriatic sea. Dubrovnik is very touristy and understandably so. Even with all Its crowded as anywhere backstreet charm is just a few steps away. The town's imposing architecture is a reminder of Its former glory. In the 15th century the salt trade and shipbuilding made Dubrovnik a maritane power rivel to Venice. I will introduce you must see places in Dubrovnik.

Pile Gate
The gate is the western entrance to the old city of Dubrovnik. It was built between the 13th and 16th century. In the past, the drawbridge was lifted every night to protect the city from invaders but now the only invaders are tourists.

Onofrio Fountain
One of Dubrovnik’s most famous landmarks, this large fountain was built in 1438 as part of a water-supply system that involved bringing water from a well 12 km away. You can find there the freshest water in Croatia.

Mighty Wall
Mighty wall offering unforgettably scenic mile long stroll. While conscracted over many centuries today's impressive fortifications date from the 1400s when they were beefed up to defend against the Ottoman Empire.

Dubrovnik Cathedral
Dubrovnik's cathedral was originally built in the 6th or 7th century in the Byzantine style, then rebuilt as a Romanesque church between the 12th and 14th centuries. The cathedral has a lovely interior, with numerous old religious paintings, one of them of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary that is attributed to Titian. The cathedral is free to visit.
