My travel experiences in Italy,Florence
Florance
Fifteenth century Florence was the home of the Renaissance and birthplace of modern Western World. I was so lucky that I've been there. There are many people in the world who want go there but most of them are not able to go due to their financial condition. I went there with my friend two years ago.
Ponte vecchio
The first place I would like to introduce you is Ponte vecchio. This awesome bridge was built in 14th century. The old bridge is one of the most famous symbols of the city and also the only one that was not damaged during the Second World War. You can find many jewelry shops on that bridge.
Florence Cathedral
Florence Cathedral was built between in 1296-1436. The church has claim to fame its dome as the first of the Renaissance and the first great dome built in Europe in over a thousand years. External of the Cathedral has marbles with pink, white and green color.
Palazzo vecchio
Palazzo vecchio started as the peoples' palace and was home of the city council. The square next to it is famous due to the replica of the Statue of David. The square home for the Loggia dei lanzi which is an open air sculpture gallery.
Italy is one of my favorite countries in Europe. It was really nice to walk through its narrow streets.
Those pictures below are taken from The Piazzale Michelangelo. If you'll go to Florence, do not leave Florence without visiting The Piazzale Michelangelo because you'll see best overlooks of Florence. You can also see all of the citys' most famous landmarks.
This is a view of Florence in the night. It's absolutely gorgeous.
I would love to see all the cities, villages and towns in Italy but we had to pass to Baltic region. So, I will write about my travel experience again.
I hope you've enjoyed my post while you are reading it. I really hope to visit Italy again. Florence is absolutely worth to visit. If you like history, architecture and narrow streets, you'll like Florance for sure. Thank you for reading my post.
Florence is probably one of the most beautiful cities in Europe!
