What an extraordinary experience! And a terrific post. I've never been to Belize, but my partner has family there. If I ever get to visit, this river is on my list!
You'll love it. There were a lot of places and things we loved in Belize. I need to write about the ATM cave sometime. That should be on your list but at your your own caution.
