Temple of Leah, Philippines: An Ultimate Symbol of Undying Love
Last May 2017, our family had a vacation in one of the most visited cities in the Philippines, Cebu City. Fortunately, we've got the chance to visit the Temple of Leah. It's like the Taj Mahal in India. Both were built as a symbol of undying love of husbands to their wives. The Temple of Leah was a symbol of love of Teodorico Adarna to his wife, Leah Villa Albino-Adarna.
As you can see in the pictures, the temple has an appreciable architecture with resemblance to Roman architecture and it will help the future Adarna generations to trace their ancestry and heritage. The temple has an art gallery, museum, and a library where all of the favorite things her wife owned are placed and there’s a spectacular view of the city at the top of it. In this Greek methodology-inspired 7-story mansion, there are gigantic lions lying on each side of the stairs that will guide you to the door step of another jaw-dropping view. You can see a grand staircase with angels made up of brass and the Queen of the Temple in a 10-ft statue with crown and flower.
The temple became even more popular when Ellen Adarna (who I admire as a person with the coolest personality), one of the grandchildren of Teodorico and Leah Adarna, enter the showbiz and became a famous model/sexy actress here in the Philippines.

Last time I was there, the temple isn't finished yet but still, it looks magnificent already. If you're planning to visit Cebu City and the Temple of Leah, you may search for a package tour around the city. There's a lot that you can choose from the internet. With our one-day tour, we've visited a lot of tourist spots already and just payed around 5,000 pesos or $125. So instead of booking your flight to Rome just to see the Roman temples which will surely cost you a lot, why don't you pay a visit to Temple of Leah?
